Photothermal catalytic H2 production over hierarchical porous CaTiO3 with plasmonic gold nanoparticles

چکیده
The synergistic promotion by photocatalysis and thermocatalysis is a promising approach for sustainable hydrogen (H2) production. Herein, we rationally design perovskite-based catalyst with three-dimensionally ordered macroporous structure (3DOM CaTiO3-Au) photothermal catalytic H2 production from different substrates. hierarchical 3DOM facilitates light harvesting mass diffusion of the substrates, while gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) promote charge separation. photogenerated hot electrons are oriented accumulated on surface Au NPs. non-metallic species [Au(I)] show more activity evolution. As result, CaTiO3-Au exhibits excellent glycerol other substrates hydroxyl groups. present work demonstrates feasible to improve designing fabricating efficient catalysts.
